The San Diego native struck out six of nine White Sox batters he faced during a brief spring training appearance with the big leaguers and then followed that up with an equally impressive outing against the Anaheim Angels.

hey, he struck out 7 Sox :D:

Tonight's gonna be fun, I can't wait.

Prior also got mauled his last two ST starts, but hey, we don't want to know that!

Do we?

Sure, but he was making a concerted effort to use his changeup, and apparently the work helped. In his two spring training starts at minor league camp against the Angels and Oakland's triple A teams, he struck out 22 in 11 innings, and allowed just 4 hits and no runs. He struck out 10 in 5 innings his first start with the DJaxx.

Incidentally, there are some weather concerns for tonight's game. If you're staying in tonight, here's the audio link for the Barons/DJaxx game
