So if im reading this right, Reynoso is still on the team, but just off the 40 man unlike Terrero correct?

My question is now who is going to play horrible outfield for the white sox (this assuming that we never see the face of Andy Gonzales ever again)?

Knowing Ozzie, the backup outfielders will, once again, really just be our backup infielders playing out of position.

He probably could have been a useful 25th man on the roster. The problem is we have about 5 guys who could fit that description...

Let the great purge of crap from the '07 season begin! So long Terrero. Perhaps an NL club will find some use for your free swinging ways.

Not to worry. I'm quite sure KW will either trade for Kenny Lofton, or Rob Mackowiak or some washed up 43 year old to screw things up in the OF next year.

maybe so he can pray to god that someone would be somewhat interested in trading for them since gonzalez is so versatile and cintron should be healthy next yr and contribute off the bench for a contender in a huge way.

Man all he needed was more playing time. He had all the tools, but he needed more MLB at-bats. Darn you Kenny!

If that piece of walking science experiment shows up in a Sox uniform, I'm not attending a single game next year.

I always joked that Jim Thome was the anti-Frank Thomas (nice guy versus hard to deal with guy.) I retract that statement, Barry Bonds is the anti-Jim Thome.

I'd take Jim Thome being on the DL twice a season over Barry any year.

As far as Luis moving on? Don't let the screen door hit yah, where the good Lord split yah.

Sorry, nice kid and all, but even his towering home run wasn't the most impressive I've seen in the past few years (Dye's to the Fundamentals deck was still the most impressive I've seen on TV.) So, Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen.

Yea. I thought Terrero had potential, but not even as a platoon guy. Just sort of a solid bench player...a guy, in the words of Dave Wannstedt, that would just make plays. He was a highly touted guy in the O's farm system, I think. Ozzie gave him plenty of chances. Terrero viewed the chances as rope, and took enough to.......

A positive sign but mostly housekeeping. Crede and Ozuna are on the 60 day DL, which means they didn't count against the 40 man, but they will in the off-season. I'm sure this was opening spots for them. I am sure we'll see more of it. Egbert for sure needs to be protected and I bet there are quite a few others.

I was fine with Terrero as a bench player but was sick with a starting line-up including both Terrero AND Andy Gonzales.

Me too. We had too many mediocre triple A players in our starting line-up this year (Terrero was one of them) which, along with a bad bullpen, resulted in our final record being 72 W and 90 L.

Sure. A-Rod, Curtis Granderson, Johan Santana, Chase Utley, Jake Peavy, Joe Nathan, and Hideki Okajima. Is that a good start?
