Bell's a classy guy. Last Sunday the Tigers made a special announcement to acknowledge his, and his family's contributions to the game of baseball and that he was stepping down. He got a standing ovation. Everything I've read about him mentions that he's a nice guy. I'm glad to read his wife's ok. I recall she had breast cancer a few years ago.

Buddy lost his nephew in the war a couple of years ago. He's gone through some tough times.

Bell was always a class act, and an outstanding player. Unfortunately for him he had some truly miserable teams as manager. I wish him luck in the future
