If that was Garland's last start in a Sox uniform, he made it a good one.

Garland continues his fantastic September with a 3 hit shutout tonight.

If it indeed was his last start in a White Sox uniform, it was a helluva way to go out.

Woo Hoo!
Finally, a well pitched game!
Great way to sign off for the year!
And ending my season with a win!
I hope Garland comes back!

May this team be granted a win on Friday! I want to go .500 for the season!

There were people behind me chanting "We're Number Four!!! We're Number Four!!!" :roflmao:

A nice power display by Thome and Dye. The Sox still live and die by the home run.

Nice win. 4 games to go and then KW has some huge decisions to make.

"Finally?" Meet us after the game tomorrow behind the park in a dark corner of Lot E. We need to, ahem, talk.

Not the point I was making. The quoted poster in my post is implying that tonight was the first well pitched game of the season.

I'm not sure what your point is since your sentence goes on a crazy twisted syntax road after the word "team."

lol, just trying out some WSI posting technique I picked up

but I've seen beurhle pitch some gems and some bad games
vasquez give up some golfballs
and jenks blow saves

no pitching has been solid this season, be it individually or holistically

Solid does not equal perfect. Every pitcher is going to have his bad days.

yikes. At least you didn't say Kevin Gregg and David Weathers are better than Jenks.

Good game for Jon, I hope this isn't the last time we see him in a White Sox uniform, but if it was, it was a nice way to go out.

I hope not... Starting pitching doesn't grow on trees.

Not next year... Next year will be the year of 'Ozzieball'.
