I'm pumped! Today was the NYY season ticket presale for playoff tickets and I was able to get home game 2 for the ALDS, ALCS, and World Series.

Last year I wasn't able to get through and got screwed (though I didn't miss much :D:)

Anyone going to any playoff games in other cities?
For me, I'd rather the WSox be in, but this is a good consolation prize.

Sweet. Do you have all the games or some kind of partial package like me?
Maybe I'll see you in the ALCS...

Wow, good for you. What are the odds of winning something like that? I hope the Sox never do anything like that in the future. I kind of just prefer everyone for themselves online.

With apologies to Fenway, I would not lose sleep if both the Yankees and the Red Sox lost in the ALDS. Then, ESPN would not know what do to.

Not Good!

Fenway, are you guaranteed seats or do you have to go on at a certain time to try to get through?
Get there right away if the later b/c today's season ticket presale got picked clean fast.
Good luck

It would still be a pretty good series w/ good storylines...
LAA is a big market and Cleve is the 2nd longest title drought.
But I def know what you mean.
And where are the apologies to me...:whiner:

I had to go in at 1 PM went right for the ALCS tickets ( home game 3 ) they were selling home game 4 but Boston will win the division so that game will never be played...I think the loss to Toronto finished you ( I hope )

Sadly I think you're right. Only way I could see is if Oak somehow won both and the Yankees went 6-0 for the week. No, I don't see either happening.
Game 6 would be nuts, I wasn't as gutsy and went for home game 2.

It is always nuts in the Bronx....just nuttier in October

Years ago I discovered this little gem of a bar. NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT IT.

Boston fans welcomed if they behave and since the NYPD drinks there

The owner's name is Hector and when I really need tickets he finds them. I got him tickets at Fenway a couple of times and last year saw a 5 game sweep ( he owes me bigtime)

Thanks for the tip. I usually just go to this hole in the wall place right next to Billy's b/c they serve 24 oz cans :gulp:relatively cheaply, but I may check that place out.
If I do, you may see me approaching people asking "Fenway? Fenway?"
If you do, please stop me...:D:

If it's not a day game during the week I'll be going to Cleveland's 2nd home game. My season ticket partner has stores in Cleveland and got them. Not sure what to do since I'm not a cleveland fan. Guess I'll just soak in the atmosphere of playoff baseball.

Didn't they already do that exact same story a couple of years ago?

Angels vs. the team with the second longest title drought?

Yeah, you should. Playoff baseball is always exciting...just a different vibe. I've been to about 5 NYY playoff games and 2005 WS game 2 (the best!)
