September 20, 1902 - Nixey Callahan throws the first no hitter in franchise history as he beats the Tigers. The Sox give him all the runs he needs by scoring three in the 1st inning. The Sox win it 3 - 0 in Chicago.

September 20, 1908 - Sox pitcher Frank Smith tosses his second no hitter beating the Philadelphia As 1 - 0 in Chicago. Smith is the only Sox pitcher to ever throw more then one no hitter. This date September 20th, is also the only date in franchise history where multiple no hitters have been thrown on over the years.

And don't forget one of the most memorable games of '05. Crede's walk-off 10th inning blast against Cleveland was on this date two years ago. I'm so glad I randomly decided to make the drive to that game and keep score. What a night. The traffic jam on the way home was awesome, because it was all fans leaving the game, and people were all cheering and chanting and discussing the game while sitting stuck on the highway. ha
