What I don't understand is how Albany County, New York is calling the shots on this probe since the pharmacy is in Orlando.
A lawyer representing George Mitchell's investigation into baseball's doping history met with Albany County District Attorney David Soares yesterday, but boarded his train for New York without the names of players connected to the growing Signature Pharmacy scandal.
However, sources said that after days of efforts by Major League Baseball to open dialogue with Albany, they believe MLB eventually will start getting information from investigators in return for its help in getting players to cooperate with the probe.
