After 42 straight scoreless innings, Brandon Webb is 17 innings shy of Orel Hershiser's all-time record. Anyone think he can do it?

That would be really hard. I doubt it. He really isn't that close. That's like two more shutouts. One more shutout is hard enough.

Well, that didn't take long. With 1 out in the top of the first inning, Prince Fielder singled home Gabe Gross to end the streak at 42 1/3.

Kudos to Webb for a heck of a streak.

Well, at least the right team did it. Hopefully they are starting to right the ship.

I'd be surprised if Milwaukee won tonight. The Diamondbacks aren't likely to get swept at home. Webb vs. Suppan = Advantage Arizona.

2-1 in favor the D-Backs right now.
