Was anyone here sitting in the left field corner where the little boy gobbled up Fields double? Lofton took the ball from him then gave it back and I am sure said not to do that anymore. I was wondering did security escort him and his father out of the park after they took the ball away from him.

Lofton didn't take the ball from him. The kid offered it to him. After the GRD was called, Lofton probably figured "What the hell am I going to do with this now?" and gave it back to the kid. Then security came over and took the ball and jumped on the radios. This is what the cameras showed anyway.

He stayed in the park. I was sitting in right field and was watching to see if they got escorted out, they didn't bother them again to the best of my knowledge.

I didnt mean Lofton took it maliciously. Just grabbed as if saying I need that  Yeah on TV they broke away after security took the ball and I was hoping they would give the kid a warning only.

On the replay I saw, the kid got this look of "oh crap what did I just do?" on his face when he stuck his glove out and offered the ball to Lofton. It wasn't the worst thing in the world really since the hit was going to be a double anyway. Lofton couldn't have thrown him out, and no one was trying to advance further.
