Is the weather going to hold off, or be okay by game time? What are the odds they get this one in?

Pretty damned good. It's a pretty small fast moving front and it's about to start raining now, so it should be over PDQ.

It's always worth going.

You bet! Give it a shot. I'd be there if I could.

Go Sox!

i'd be more worried about sabathia shutting down our offense then the weather. GOD we should have won yesterday

If you want to see Andy Gonzalez starting at 2B and batting sixth (?!?!?), then yeah, go check it out.

Or instead at first we could plug in Mackow...

Oh wait, never mind.

I'm sure Cintron could handle first in an emergency or even put him at third and move Fields to first. Heck, put Dye there and move someone into RF. It's first base, not SS...

I beg to differ if you think that you can just throw anybody out there at 1B and be OK. We've been lucky to have Paulie out there, who while not spectacular, is solid at 1B. Not that Mackowiak would be great there, but I'd much rather see him than Cintron, Fields, or Dye.

People were suggesting moving Dye there this off season. You honestly believe it would be better to have the pitchers batting 4 times than take a chance on the easiest defensive position to play in any sport ever?

Heck, let Hall go at it just tell him not to leave his feet under penalty of suspension and/or ridicule...

In an emergency situation, I would move Gonzalez over there. He's played every position on the field this year and although hasn't looked great at any of them, has not looked bat at any of them, either. I see no reason he couldn't handle first.

Even though I didn't get home until 12:45am last night after 13 innings and some wonderful CTA delays, I'd say it was worth it. :D:

I was at the game, and yeah I'd say it was worth it. Especially if you stayed til the end! Mercy!
