As per MLB.com. And no, I'm not advocating his return to the southside!

C'mon! A lineup which included Borchard, Clayton, Miguel Cairo and Willie Mo Pena (with Mike Myers anchoring the bullpen) would kill!!:D:

This could be a good pickup for the Sox.

He's a 5 tool player who's adjusting to the game. He played football in college and was ranked as the 2nd best athlete in the draft, so one day its all going to come together as he learns the ins and outs of baseball.

He hit .417 in limited at-bats in 2005, so he's shown that spark. All he needs is a little more MLB experience and Walker to fix the hole in his swing.

What have you got to lose Kenny? MAKE IT HAPPEN!

He will be the perfect DH since Thome is getting old.

I really hope we resign him just so that some of the usual suspects can come tell us why this is a great pickup by KW.

He did come from the Mariners, for Joe Borchard. Then the Mariners traded him to the Marlins...

How 'bout he comes back so we can see if he learned anything in his time away from the South Side?

If he couldn't hit NL pitching, he won't hit here.

Even funnier, the Mariners didn't trade him to the Marlins. Florida got him off waivers from Seattle.

Eh, there's always CFL football, Joe.

He had a shot, and he blew it. It happens. That's why prospects should save any bonus money if they get any. Invest it real well, just in case reality sets in. Like this.

There are worse options as a fifth outfielder - someone who can defend CF acceptably once or twice weekly.
