We have a lot of guys who could make this rotation very strong in the near future. It could get fun again, quickly.

I only see Egbert and Gio in the near future, personally. But I am not high on Broadway as some.

Buehrle for 4 more, Gio, Egbert, Danks then DLS down the road a bit. Broadway and McCulloch may fit in the middle to back of that rotation just fine.

It would be sweet to have a fully homegrown rotation in a few years.

And I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Russell turn into a beast out of the bullpen for us in the near future as well.

Just an FYI...Sweeney was placed on the DL with a 'lingering right wrist injury.' Now the second outfielder out with a wrist injury. :(:

With his and BA's injuries, that'd be the ONLY reason i can understand why the sox might be interestd in bringing in wily mo pena. letting him play in LF against lefties and DH some would almost be the same as letting one of those rooks play: to give him consistent at bats to see if he'll be worth anything down the road.

It's also probably another reason Dye was not traded.
