Any one with an inside track on the gametime? I know nothing is official until its on whitesox.com. However the family is trying to plan a birthday dinner for yours truly and the time of said dinner will be based on when the game is since the wife and I are planning to go.

Likely 1:05...I doubt ESPN would pick it up.

That's not an inside tip, just an educated guess, so don't take my word for it.

truth of the matter is not likely how the sox are doing for this one, and more of how many apearences has the other good teams that day like the yankees or tigers who are playing each other that weekend. i believe the limit for sunday night baseball is 5 fwiw

Yeah, ESPN has historically shown little, if any, interest in the Red Sox!! :D:

Its the only game at mlb.com that the start time is TBD. The Yankees/Tigers match up seems better, but they may be at or close to their allotted appearances.

I say 1:05. How about that Tigers game on September 29th? I think it will be 6:05 because it is a fireworks night and CSN will have the game.

A Sunday Night Baseball appearance would make me pretty happy, since I am out of town that weekend and get back at around 4.

I did a little research of my own which leads me to believe it will be Sox vs. Sox on Sunday Night Baseball. The Tigers have already reached their 5 game max., The Yankees have played 4 with 1 more coming already scheduled vs. BOS in September. The Red Sox have only played 3 plus the 1 vs. NYY in September leaving them with 1 more Sunday Night Baseball possibility. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well, there's still two other games that could be picked up: Dodgers-Mets or Padres-Phillies.

both of those games could have playoff implications for both teams while the Red Sox vs. White Sox game would only have implications for Boston. Mets and Phils have both played 4 Sunday Baseball Nightgames. LAD and SD only 2 each. The difference being all of those games have daygame times listed while the Sox still show TBA....mmmm I'm still giving my nod to night baseball on 8/26, but that's just my opinion

How about just plan your birthday dinner for Saturday?

Working on Saturday. The Wife and The Mom co-conspired to plan a family get together for my b-day on Sunday while I was out of town...seemingly forgetting that the wife and I have tickets for the game.

I have NESN's truck on hold for the 26th but we hearing ESPN leaning towards taking it. Their Sunday night vendor Game Creek Video also has Chicago listed.

We using the same truck in NY starting the 28th. Monday an off day. Crew including me flying out of Midway Sunday night no matter what but it would be nice to move truck earlier so it would be there earlier. One factor is ESPN knows they get a huge New England rating.

Why wouldn't the game be on Sunday Night Baseball? At the pace we're eating away at the Indians/Tigers lead...that could be the night we take over the lead of the Central Division!:gulp:

Here is the schedule for NESN's primary truck HD06

As you can see we still assuming NESN is doing the game on the 26th but.....

I am involved in a nutty business and it can be a nightmare trying to schedule trucks around the US. In Seattle we had a problem this weekend when our vendor in Vancouver was delayed at the border and arrived at Safeco 3 hours before the game on Friday :whiner:

As you can see we cut things close

The big advantage of using the same truck on the road is it feels like home

I just got off the phone with Bristol.

They will decide on Friday and they are looking at 3 games and right now Boston-Chicago is their second pick.

He hinted that they are getting a waiver for NYY

He kinda told me off the record they will not pick the Chicago game and it would go back to a 1:11 PM start.

Fenway, you gonna be in town 8/23 - 8/26 for the White Sox / Red Sox series regardless of the start time of that Sunday game?

Wherever HD06 goes, so do I :?:

Our September schedule is brutal and we rolling the dice......St Pete to Boston with only one off day........ a lot can happen to a truck over 1500 miles :?:
