I've said it once and I'll say it again, I wouldn't mind seeing Wood in a Sox uni. Can he really be any worse than anyone else coming out of our bullpen?

Having said that, I've met him and he's a real nice guy.

Yes. The man cannot stay healthy.

Having said that, I've met him and he's a real nice guy.

I'm sure he is, but what does that have to do with anything? Scotty Pods is a nice guy, too, but he can't stay healthy and therefore becomes almost useless.

I'll give him 3 and 2/3 before he has tightness in his elbow/shoulder. Or he won't start at all after slipping in the shower because he wore the wrong sandals.

No, the Cubs have positive momentum going this season, so I think Wood will make it through the season.

Just like 2003 - We just are waiting for them to **** it up somehow, b/c you know that will happen.

On an related note - HOW BAD IS THE NL. The DBacks are top 3 in wins and their deadly combo of Webb/Livan Hernandez/Doug Davis will be devestating in the playoffs...oh my God.

I don't think they are banging on Webb...it's Davis and Hernandez as your 2 & 3. Awful...

Yeah, neither league has been top-notch this year at all. This is the brave new world of revenue sharing, however, and for the short-term, it's good for the game.
