So, Mark's wife had the baby yesterday. His son was born at 7 pounds, 11 ounces.

7:11, just like the start time for weeknight home games.

Go figure.

Did they sponsor the birth as well?

Is his son left-handed and why haven't we signed him yet? Get it done Kenny!

Is it too early to draft him next year? Figure we have the kids of anyone who ever worked or played for the org. anyway.

The kid is bolder then his dad, he won't budge from his full no trade clause demand.

Funny story. I had a laugh about that with some of my friends here.

Time for Kenny to sign the newborn so he can continue to build on for the future. Don't worry. He'll be ready for the Majors by 2028.

Congrats to Mark and his wife!

A slight hijack - One of my former students was born at 7:11 (don't know if it was AM or PM) on July 11 (don't know the year). In addition, both he and his dad worked for a computer services company that did tech support for, you guessed it, 7-Eleven!

Oh, thank heaven!

Probably what Mark's wife said after the delivery was over.

Congrats to the Buehrle family.

Any truth to the rumor that BD came out and immediately slid across the changing table?

Seriously - congrats Mark & Jamie!

Any truth to the rumor that BD came out and immediately slid across the changing table? No, but in typical Buehrle fashion, labor only lasted 24 minutes.
