He was due for a bad outting. Oh well.

It seemed like the Tigers found a lot of holes tonight against Buehrle. Lots of grounders between Fields and Uribe. Lots of hits to rightfield that fell in front of Dye.

The perils of pitching to contact were on display this evening....

Not good times.:(: I just hope we at least split in tomorrows double dip. I fully expect to lose one game. Let's just pray it doesn't get out of hand like the last time we had one.

This team is becoming increasingly hard not to be apathetic about.

We need some hope; something positive to look at besides the same old flaming ****.

Palehose6 was last year people - now, he's a left handed guitar player.

Again, as much as I'd like to blame the pitching, the offense had 14 LOB, 8 of those with 2 outs and in scoring position.

This is getting harder to watch, but times like these prove real loyalty.

For the first time this year, this loss was function of the Tigers just plain out-playing the Sox. They got clutch hits. The Sox did all they could just shy of getting their clutch hits. You can blame MB or the BP, but it was really just a case of the opposition getting their hits when they counted.

I'd just like to split today's DH to assure us of not getting swept in a five-game series at home.

We have a decent chance in both games today. Looking at the pitching matchups for tomorrow and Thursday, we're in trouble.

Have you tried Pepto Bismol?

We have a decent shot at Game 1 but Game 2 is going to have Gavin Floyd vs. the potent Tigers offense. I hope Floyd has better stuff than he did against Minny or that one is going to be ugly.

The guy the Tigers have pitching isn't very good either. I saw him get beat 16-4 against the Twins in a start earlier this season. It could be a high-scoring game. We'll see who the tallest midget is. You have to give the Tigers a bit of an edge since they are a better hitting team than we are.

Plus, the Sox have a habit of making scrub pitchers look like Tom Seaver.:(:
