The Pirates look to see who can help turn the franchise around...

one White Sox name has surfaced

RICK HAHN
The White Sox's vice president and assistant general manager is universally considered one of the shrewdest young executives in the game and is an indispensable aide to GM Kenny Williams, particularly with the business side of the operation. Beyond his seven years with the White Sox, Hahn also worked for football super agent Leigh Steinberg for two years. His educational resume is impeccable and includes degrees from Harvard Law School and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

That's in teal, right?

Hahn would be an excellent choice for ANY organization. His time has been long overdue, as it usually is for executives of color.

I just hope it's somebody competent. The Pirates are a pround, great MLB franchise, and its a shame that a generation of young fans has learned to pair them with great futility. Hopefully somebody can turn that around.

It would be a huge loss for the Sox to lose Rick Hahn. Hahn plays a big role in thsi organization.
