People complain that the media overlooks the White Sox in Chicago but it is nothing compared to the Mets in New York. Look at today and you would think the Yankees are the best team in New York

Noway. The Sox could win another W.S and still be a doormat in this town. It's happening already in this City now,The Cubs are being shoved down our throats in all the media outlets.Ryan Theriot is the next Cubbie sweetheart.Sweet Lou is a genuis and this after beating a horrible Astros team.

Mets are Still highely regarded in N.Y I think. When i was stationed in Aberdeen,we went to "the island" and nothing but Met fans.I still think its worse here.Like i said before the CUbs being 4 games over is huge news here.

I agree with the previous posts. Also, the Mets are given way more fair coverage nationally, especially on ESPN (Surprise).

The Mets don't get as good of coverage as the Yankees, but it's not wholeheartedly biased either like the Tribune. The Newsday covers the Mets in more detail.
