I read today in the Tribune that Sox first round pick Aaron Poreda was experiencing tenderness in his left arm after throwing. It does mention that he was hitting 97 mph----that's some serious giddy up. Hopefully there isn't much to this story.

Poreda was clocked at 97 m.p.h. in his last start for Advanced-Rookie Great Falls on June 28 but experienced tenderness in his left arm. He has struck out 10 in nine innings.
