Now that Gavin has been sent back to AAA the Sox have a roster spot open, and it has been stated that a corresponding move will be made tomorrow prior to the Oriole game. Anyone happen to know who's on their way up?

"There's some rumors going around on the internets, that Charlie Haeger will be called up."

Gio?!

I hope not.
1)We already have two lefties in the pen.
2)It's still too early to call him up, and even if we were to, he should start.

Haeger's not a lefty....why is it too early to call him up? He's had six straight quality starts with 32 innings in June 15 BB's, 35 K's...Sounds like he ready to me!

He was talking about Gio, not Haeger.

I like Charlie and I hope this is the start of a long, successful major league career.

Wow...those aren't exactly numbers that make me jump for joy that he's coming up.

His recent starts have apparently been great...lets home he keeps it going...

will he be starting though? is this a precursor to a trade?

Yeah Contreras to the Phillies for Rowand and Dye and cash to the Royals for Teahen. The Royals are really hoping to make a big splash and catch the Sox.

Hey yeah, just like Floyd.

Does this mean Floyd would have remained with the big club had his start been better?

Believe It!
