Sorry because I know that this has been talked about, but I just didn't read that stuff. Why is Wright #3 after the horrid spring when a more experienced and better in the spring Garland is at 4. Just wondering because Garland is our 3rd best starter right now.

Manuel says it's because he pitched real good in seattle last year.

From ESPN.com
Wright made one start against Seattle and allowed just one run in 7 2/3 innings but did not earn a decision.

Yup. I remember that game. I 'm pretty sure they lost. Or was that the game they came back and won?

I guess 1 game makes a career for JM.

As long as it's not for the whole year. Wright probably pitched well because the hitters didn't know him, but JM doesn't think that way does he?

yeah i guess thats pretty obvious, since last night. why not bring in your best guy in a situation like that, dont use it as a time for pitchers to learn. i used to be a manuel supporter, but so far, its not looking good for him, and a job after this year

Garland wasn't exactly lights out either this spring. Garland owns the Royals, which I'm pretty sure is why he's getting the start against them.

I don't even think this should be an issue.

James Baldwin pitched well versus the Mariners in the playoffs and he is great in domed stadiums so he should have..... ooops, must have been too expensive.
