Santana or Haren. I like Santana more cause he's the best pitcher in baseball.

Beckett all the way... he's having a great year & there's no way I'm voting for Sabathia.

It's Haren and it's not even close. 10-2 with a 2.20 ERA? Really? He allows fewer than one baserunner per inning (0.98 WHIP)? Seriously? Those are some sick numbers, and Beckett's 3.44 ERA doesn't compare.

I'd say either Beckett or Haren. Beckett pitched last night so he would be in line to pitch Tuesday. Haren goes tonight meaning he would go on 3 days rest on Tuesday.

It shouldn't be a big question, but it is. Haren all the way. Sabathia would be my second choice.

Haren, but i think Leyland will go with AL Central foe CC Sabtathia to get him an inning more work =)

Being a Tigers manager in the first place I think homerism will lead him to make the decision to start Verlander.

If there were ever a time to bust out the "who cares" tag, this would be it. :redneck

Honestly, why not start him? He recently threw his own no-no, and he is one of the rising stars of the league.

But whoever gets the call, it does not matter, because they all are deserving of it.

Its gotta be Dan Haren, he's having a great year. Beckett shouldnt be the starter cus everyone in that lineup has seen Beckett before while only a handful might have seen Haren before.

If it's a reward for the best first half it MUST be Haren.

I voted for Haren. Yes, Santana, Beckett, and Sabathia all have more wins; but, wins aren't as important as ERA in my book, because wins can also be bolstered due to run support. Wins don't say as much about a pitcher as ERA. Haren's had under a 2.00 ERA all season long, and that's unheard of! Just plain wicked!

It's gotta be Haren.
