As soon as Josh starting running for the stands, my husband and I yelled: "Did he catch it? Did he catch it? He caught it! He caught it!" Good times, good memories.

I missed the whole game, but listened to the postgame show on The Score. Rongey replayed Farmer's call of Fields' catch, and it was very reminiscent of Rooney's call from 2005. He was like, "Fields reaches over... did he catch it? He caught it. He went into the stands and brought it back out." The only thing he didn't do was yell "UNBELIEVABLE!" at the end... which I ended up saying out loud after hearing Farmer's call.

He wasn't nearly as excited either, but it definitely brings back memories.

Farmer on Fields:
"Did he catch it? He caught it."

Farmer on Uribe:
"DID HE CATCH IT?!!!?!? HE CAUGHT IT!!!!!!"

Great catch. Awesome seeing a player lay out like that.

It was a great catch and all, but I couldn't help notice how Fields made some woman's night on the fall by grabbing her thigh for support. :redneck

I like how he gave that young lady's leg a little squeeze :redneck

But it didn't have the impact on the game like his error did on Monday.

You want your players to forget about those errors though. If they sit there thinking about them, they might not be making amazing plays like this. One of the best assets to be a solid baseball player is a short-term memory when it comes to mistakes.
