It wasn't really a matter of "if," it was just a matter of when. Overused phrase, I know, but it sums up that whole situation.
At least we don't have the worst record in baseball right now. That honor goes to the Cincinnati Reds.:gulp:

I don't think the Reds problem was Jerry. The GM needs to take some responsibility.

He was part of the problem, but he wasn't the main problem (Batting Scott Hatteberg leadoff?:o:). I agree with your overall point though. Since GABP opened in 2003, the Reds have had 3 different managers. That indicates that there is a problem with how the team is being run upstairs, not on the field.

Which is why I'm always optimistic about the Sox...pitching we've got.
