Pareda is doing what he should be doing, dominating some younger guys. I don't think he'll be there very long. And Lance is really coming around. I think Lance is going to be good.

I've always felt like Broadway could be a solid middle-of-the-rotation guy, much like Jon Garland. The reports this year on Lance have been very encouraging. Sometimes he gets a bad rap because he has that "low-risk, low-ceiling guy" label.

If he turns into a solid No. 3 starter for the Sox, I'm not going to complain.

Until Lance stops walking 4- 5 guys every 9 innings I'm still skeptical.

I saw Lance pitch a couple of times in college. He was absolutely dominant, but it was strictly on control. He'd cut the corners pitch after pitch.
