if the sox traded iguchi or uribe, who would you rather have the sox replace them with?

Can you add none of the above? I think KW can and will do better than these 2 stiffs.

I just have a feeling Kenny is going to do something monumental this off-season. And I think it will involve a shortstop or catcher. Just my opinion. So it could be neither of these two.

None of the above. Richar is probably going to be a bench guy middle infielder, replacing Cintron.

Gonzalez is starting to grow on me as a utility guy. Put him anywhere for a day or two, and he'll probably do a decent job. He may be Pablo Ozuna, but with some defensive talent.

What he said.

I think too that KW's going to make some moves that'll get a new shortstop. Uribe makes me crazy with his wild swinging and his occasional brain cramps in the field. Short is too important a position to break in a utility guy like Gonzalez at the MLB level.

I hope Richar turns into the 2B of the future....I would hate to think we gave up Cunningham for a Utility guy.

Are you talking about for the rest of this season or long term?

I'll assume the latter and say Luis Castillo and (assuming his back injury isn't serious) David Eckstein.
