Details of the deal are currently undisclosed, but I imagine if this report is true the Cubs are getting zilch back, as the Marlins are taking on most of his money.

EDIT:
Rotoworld's Take:
The Marlins have acquired Jacque Jones from the Cubs, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
No word yet on what the Marlins got back, but it won't be much. The Cubs are likely covering a large portion of the roughly $9 million Jones is owed through 2008. It's still a nice pickup for Florida. Jones isn't a great defender in center, but he can handle the position and he will start hitting. To pick up such a solid stopgap at what is almost surely very little cost is a nice feat for GM Larry Beinfest. Jun. 26 - 5:53 pm et

Rosenthal is saying there is a holdup on how much money the Cubs will pay and it could be a deal breaker.

Per rotoworld.

It should be for nothing - Jones isn't worth his contract.

Joe deserves better than to have to play at the shrine.

A TribCo paper, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports that the trade was killed (http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/baseball/marlins/sfl-flspmarnot27nbjun27,0,1746947.story?coll=sfla-sports-marlins) by Sam Zell, who officially does not own TribCo yet.
