What's the likelihood of walking up to Comiskey for the June 11th game against the Mets and getting 4 tickets all together?

Even if the Sox are 20 games over .500 in first place?

Should I buy advance tickets?

Are you familiar with the term five 9's?

You'll definitely be able to get tickets. Whether they're good tickets, that's another question.

You should have no problem getting good tickets. One of the good things about being a Sox fan is the over abundancy of tickets available, unless the Cubs or Yankees are in town.

I can't imagine the Mets being anywhere near as big a draw as the Yankees. Even if the Sox were mowing down the league (as you describe), I doubt you would have trouble finding a large block of seats together in the upper deck.

If you want the amenities of the lower deck, the safe bet is buying them in advance.

"If Sox Fans bought seats in large groups all the time we could afford to compete, but no."

"Come on out, Bisco. We need help in the bullpen."

"Bring your glove, too. I'm looking to add versatility to our roster."

"I'm waiting by the phone!"

You should be able to get them, especially since Robin won't be around to draw a crowd.
