Umpire Bruce Froemming has announced that he will retire (http://cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/story/10225957) at the end of the season. His career has not been without controversy (see "Pappas, Milt"), but he holds the record for most MLB games umpired.

Any chance he can take Wendelstedt with him?

Haha my Dad who's a Cub fan tells me about that game a lot! He usually says something like "Figures he wouldn't get the perfect game because something like that would only happen to the Cubs"
