the sox would get the 7th overall pick in the 2008 draft and does anyone know any players getting highly touted for the draft next year....its never to early to be thinking about this stuff when ur favorite team is 3-15 in their last 18 games.:mad:

A long time ago. But they've had shots at top-ten players before and passed, so it doesn't matter that much. We still could have had better drafts than we did.

I would imagine you're probably right, but if they're picking in the top 5 he might be a reach. As far as production in college Smoak and Alvarez are light years ahead of him. Heck, he's not even the second best player on his own team.
