Should anything be done with the coaching staff? And, if so, what?

For the record, I would retain the entire coaching staff at this time.

And even though I made it a choice, it would be extremely impractical to fire the entire coaching staff.

Keep them now, but if the hitting never turns around at any point this year, show Walker the door at the end of the season.

I would let Ozzie play short and let Harold play the Outfield.

At this point I don't care if the coaching staff gets the axe or some of the players but SOMETHING has to happen NOW!

The scouts that look at upcoming opponents need to be fired, in my opinion.

Fire Walker; only one player on the entire team has a decent plate approach. Maybe it isn't fault originally but he wasn't able to convince these free swinging number chasers of changing their ways.

he gone.

Coop can pitch, Shines can play CF alongside Baines, Walker can go to 1B, Daryl Boston can go to CF, Kevin Hickey can take Thornton's place.

Sad to say, some of those ideas actually sound good......

Changing hitting coaches in midseason won't help...if this team doesn't start hitting show Walker the door at the end of the season. It's not Ozzie's fault that our good position players are hurt and their backups suck. Nor is it Coop's fault that Kenny went out and got a bunch of guys who couldn't find the strike zone with a GPS system.
