they probably had better speed than many of the guys on the roster as well

All these problems can be fixed by implementing shock collars. When a bullpen guy starts a hitter off 2-0, shock him. When a player isn't hustling, shock him. Errors, swings at terrible pitches, walks, they all equal shocks. Sooner or later these guys will get it right.

Or you can just send them to shock therapy before a game, so that way they don't even put themselves in a position to screw up.

MLB has decided to allow the Sox to use aluminum bats.

The ruling came down after Ozzie pointed out that baseballs were put in humidors at Coors Field to help the pitching.

Under the new rule sabremetric geeks have Uribe pegged for .250/.312/.306.
