According to ESPN.com, Berkman has been suspended two games and, unless appealed, will begin the suspension tonight.

Rotoworld says that Berkman will appeal.

They always appeal...even if Rotoworld or anyone else didn't post that, I'd be pretty confident in saying he would.

What incentive does he have not to appeal?

The Score is reporting he is appealing (the suspension that is, they did not comment on his personality).

Why does it matter? Not only is Berkman not having a very good season, but we'll win or lose depending on if our offense shows up; and we get some relief from the bullpen.

Berkman has hit two home runs in the last two games.

And...? I'm not worried about Lance Berkman beating us; I'm worried about our offense and bullpen.

Maybe you should. With Hunter Pence hitting .370 and Carlos Lee having a solid year, that's a pretty good 2-3-4. I was just responding to your comment that Berkman isn't having a good year so he isn't a threat, he's starting to heat up so I didn't entirely agree with you.

Personally, I've stopped worrying about the White Sox about a week ago. If they are comfortable being a mediocre team, then mediocrity is what I will expect. I just feel bad for our Starters.
