In Sullivan's article on Frank today, he writes:
At 23 Thomas became the focal point of a franchise full of rising stars like Sammy Sosa, Robin Ventura and Jack McDowell and established veterans such as Carlton Fisk and Tim Raines.
Including Sam-ME in that gang of "rising stars" doesn't jibe with my recollections of the team back then. Sosa was a low-average, high-K kind of guy even back then.
Is Sully full of it, or what?
