Not too happy to see that ERA from Floyd but he had a solid start tonight. What happened with Pods? Wasn't he supposed to start tonight in Charlotte?

Nice to see Floyd with a good line today.

Hopefully Floyd is getting his act together. Of course, the Sox have no problem getting guys to succeed at AAA. It's that next step to being major league quality that seems elusive.

By showing a better presence on the mound and gaining control of a slider at Class AAA Charlotte, right-hander Gavin Floyd has put himself in position to be the next call-up if a spot start is needed.
