"Yessir............mercy.......I'll tell you what DJ.......I am sure glad to see Ol' KingXerxes back on this board.........it's been how long........heck at least ten years or so.....reminds me of the time when Ol' Walter Johnson came out of retirement. His first pitch in the '67 World Series put Ol' Willie McCover right on his fanny. Yessir - and Willie says to me, 'Hawk - you're the best dad-gummed hitter on this team, I'm sure you'll hit him hard.' Well when I walked up there, Ol' Walter was throwin' aspirin tablets so I was only able to hit a two-run double off of him."

:DJ

"What? Willie McCovey wasn't in the 1967 World Series........and didn't Walter Johnson pass away in the 1940's?"

:hawk

"Were you there?"

:DJ

"No, but...."

:hawk

"Well then that's what I'm sayin'"

Hey Guys - at least those who remember me - it's good to be back. I'll make sure to check in at least more than once a year from now on.

I wasn't a member during your first reign, but I have read the Ask Farmio classic thread and it was hilarious. Welcome back!

Hey, aren't you the poster that made this year's poll of, IIRC, "Top posts of all time", for your "Ask Farmio" series?
Thanks for making me laugh aloud in the office!!
:D:

I, as many others, also sitting here now in tears laughing my ass off. The ground chuck exchange with Rooney and Farmio did me in.

Wherever you were, if you ever need to go back, get a wireless card. :D:

Agreed. As a latecomer to this board I missed the Golden Era of KX. Could somebody post a link to some of the more memorable Farmio exchanges?

Ah yes. KX was narrowly defeated by the World Series thread for the best thread in the history of WSI. He put up a much better fight than most would think though, considering what he was up against.

Welcome back King. Sox are going to go on a 22-4 run. YESSSSSS!!!

Speaking of which, where has the Horsemaster been? Is he still banned? Moderated? FREE HORSEMASTER!

With King and Horsemaster back in the fold, WSI will reach new levels of greatness.

Wow - I had no idea the Ask Farmio thread was a finalist in anything.

I am honored.

As to why I was off the board so long, I really have no idea. I kind of stopped posting anything on any websites. It's good to be back, and I swear when I get the time I'll try another Farmio thread (or something to that effect).

Talk to you guys later.

When you think back, there was a lot of sillyness going on in here.

Funny stuff. Good to see a long time guy.
