Forget about the DET/CLE game last night. If they were still tied for 1st place, who would you rather have in 1st. I say DET for 2 reasons. One, I think we play against them a lot more from now until the end of the season. Secondly, I think we play better aginst them then we do versus CLE. This is what I think, how about you?

I say let them beat the hell out of each other, while the Sox creep closer for the kill.

I vote neither. Really dislike both teams, ya know?

The Sox matchup well against the Tigers in all categories except manager. Leyland is the exact type of disciplinarian coach that the Sox could use right now.

Then again, the Indians bullpen is going to implode by August.

This reminds me of the question of who I want to win when Michigan plays Ohio State.

I root for injuries.

Seriously - I don't want either team to win - but that's not an option.

The White Sox.

Why does this poll look different from all other polls?

I dislike the Jndians (and their fans) much more the the Tigers at this point (Zumaya and IROID excluded), plus I think Detroit is far better than Cleveland (and their jokester of a closer). Make it a two team race, between Detroit and us, and let the loser take the wildcard.....So I want Detroit to put Cleveland in the tailspin they're due.

Cleveland. They will never do anything with Eric Wedge as the manager. Detroit OTOH is the real deal. The Sox play them well, but they are the team to worry about in this divsion.

Indians sweep Detroit by scores of 7-4, 6-3 and 5-3.

Jokester closer Joe Borowski goes 3/3 in unchallenged save chances on the weekend.

The imploding bullpen goes 6.2 innings on the weekend and allows ZERO runs.
