I think that opens a spot on the 40 man roster.

He's got a ring, so he does deserve the Appreciation thread.

Nice going Pedro. Way to knock out Gregg Zaun with your knee.

That's the best I got for Pedro.

If I had to guess, I'd say Bukvich is on his way here soon. Hopefully Sisco goes down and starts.

Indeed it does.

Could be Ryan Bukvich or Bret Prinz.

Methinks its Bukvich. What does Prinz have to prove anymore? I remember the Sox making some nice comments about Bukvich though in ST when no one else was talking about him.

I would tend to agree with you. Bukvich was one of the last cuts.

He was only up for a couple of games in May of '05. I would've liked to have seen more of him in a Sox uniform. Good luck to Pedro in the future.

He's a lousy hitter. I don't think he has a future in the big leagues.

I don't get it. He's only 23 years old, very good defensively, hit .322 in 65 games at Birmingham last year, and hit .274 at Charlotte last year. He's younger and (IMO) better than Andy Gonzalez.

This leaves the Knights with 1 backup OF and no backup IF, so they'll need to add somebody, especially if TWPITU is going to miss more than 1 game.
