Hmmmmmm

White Sox and Cubs both train in Arizona. Phoenix area is home to many transplanted people from Chicagoland. This week FOX does not have a west coast game. So what game will be shown in Arizona? Mets-Yankees of course.

At least Sox fans in New Orleans will be happy

Yep.

And I miss today's game because of this "work" thing. Oh, well; pretty sure I'll see Sunday's game somewhere. And there's always a good group in the Saturday chat.

Seattle gets the Yank/Mets game too. That makes sense considering NY is about 3,000 miles away.

I don't think I have ever seen a Cubs/Sox Saturday game.

Why MLB doesn't allow Extra innings and MLB.com to carry the other FOX games is the biggest part of the problem on Saturday's. Cripes even the NHL put all of NBC's regional hockey games on for the 23 people like myself that have the package.

The only bar anywhere they is able to get the other Fox games is Game On which is located IN Fenway Park. The bar is 25% owned by the Red Sox and I suspect they have access to the MLB fiber optics network that is used to backhaul feeds from venues. For example they ALWAYS have the YES feed for the Yankees even when EI has the other teams feed. ( for example yesterday they had the New York feed instead of Hawk who was carried on EI)

NESN is overjoyed but was shocked when FOX passed on Atlanta-Boston as both have a huge following as well. I am surprised they not pumping that game into New England and the South.

So will this Sox fan in Baldwin County, Alabama!!!! :supernana: However, Montgomery, Dothan, Birmingham, Huntsville, and the east central Alabama communities served by Columbus, Georgia local TV will be stuck with Yankees/Mets.

Not to worry, I'll get to see that game, for now, John Smoltz vs. Dice-K depending on the weather, on SportSouth, the network formerly known as Turner South before Fox took it off of Time Warner's hands.

I guess TBS will have to get the "Bloopers" episode tapes ready for tonight, LOL!!!! If they play tomorrow, I assume it will be a day/night DH.

As I mentioned in another thread, I'd bet we still won't get the game. They'll show an old Yanks/Red Sox game or an infomercial.

Of course, that's not the worst thing that could happen. If it was WGN, we'd see another one of Kenny Holtzman's no-hitters!

If this Fox interview with Ken Rosenthal is live, it looks like it will be delayed. The tarp is still on the field. Good chance this is on tape though.

EDIT: Yep, it was definitely taped. Looks like I'll be listening to this one on Gameday Audio.

Guillen is really a nitwit sometimes. "I know, let's bring a guy who's been stinking up the place. They won't hit him this time."

Goon Logan, it should be. The board won't let me say what I want to say. Yesterday's game, let's put Ozuna at third. Two errors. Let's take A.J. out of the game, and then scumbag him on the radio. Then we'll put in a guy who hasn't played one single game this year at the major league level. Two errors.

Completely outmanaged by a superior manager. No contest. Let's bring in Logan, bangzoom grand slam!

Goddammit already. Give us a break. Run this nitwit off already. They won in spite of him, not because of him. The idiot would've put Cotts in if he wasn't a Cub this year.

we won in spite of him is absolutely correct, i have always wanted to see someone else besides me say that... thank you.
