Whatever, Jason. If you feel that strongly about the issue, give up that MVP award of yours to you-know-who.

I give him credit for at least being honest now in talking about the past

Giambi admits he took steroids (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2007/05/18/2007-05-18_giambi_admits_he_took_steroids.html)

For the last four years, Jason Giambi has been the one BALCO defendant who didn't deny to the grand jury that he ever used steroids or human growth hormone, but yesterday, he went a step further. ... more (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2007/05/18/2007-05-18_giambi_admits_he_took_steroids.html)

The guy basically comes out and says "Sorry for doing something bad, but I won't say exactly what it was that I did wrong." Now all of the sudden he's Mr. Clean? No offense to the bald-headed, white-shirted house cleaning hero of the same name BTW.

Jason Giambi is living, breathing, human douchebag. He wants baseball to apologize but he won't be a man about the whole thing? He admits to taking steriods without really admitting it, won't give up his MVP, and didn't retire.

OTOH, Jason Grimsley gets busted and is all over the news. To his credit, Grimsley apologized and retired. Not that Grimsley would have been wanted by another team anyway, well, maybe the Mets, but he still was man enough to call it quits.

Giambi wants everyone to be all understanding and supportive and forgiving of people's "mistakes." There is a difference between making an innocent mistake and deliberately cheating. There is a difference between Kenny Rogers going nuts after a cameraman or Pete Rose placing a bet and Giambi rubbing that cream all over his butt or whatever he did.

RE: Giambi

To quote one of my clients:

**** him.

Giambi is a complete ******* who called a press conference to issue an non-apology in order to cover his steroid taking ass when the heat of the Balco grand jury testimony was on (and in order to say, look, I said a took illegal stuff to the grand jury, so I didn't lie, so therefore even though I'm a cheater I not as big as an ******* as Barry Bonds).

Now he basically issues a second non-apology, saying that he sorry that he did something wrong, without actually saying what he did was wrong. Newsflash, ********--In order for an apology to be sincere, he have to own up to doing something wrong, not an "...I'm sorry if what I did may or may not have been wrong..." What a callous piece of ****, issuing a non-apology twice and then try to play the ****ing victim card as if he is just an innocent party. Oh, I see Jason, you just needed to take performance enhancers just so you could keep up with the competition, and besides, everyone else was doing it, so whats the harm of getting a little edge.

He screwed Frank Thomas over, and even more, he ****ed with the integrity of the game. Just once I would like to see that ********er face to face with Frank Thomas and try to sell his bull**** that no one with two working brain cells and a synapse firing in between them is buying. Then the whole world can see what a complete chicken **** that grease ball is.

Giambi should face the facts that so many people already knew--he like many others (pointing fingers at Sosa and his ilk) were average to mediocre players who wouldn't be anywhere without their "artificial assistance."

With candor like that, Giambi should quit baseball and run for Congress (obvious sarcasm--no teal necessary).

End rant. God that felt good.

P.S.--**** Giambi

P.S. #2--**** Giambi, again.

Is this the first time he has ever actually acknowledged using roids?

What I'd really want to see is BALCO getting linked to a terrorist group so that way all these punk ass bitches get thrown in jail and Frank gets his award.

Anybody who doesn't think HGHiambi is now doing HGH is an incredibly gullible moron. That's the best part of this whole thing. :D:

For Giambi's reputation, a swing and miss (http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2007/05/19/2007-05-19_for_giambis_reputation_a_swing_and_miss-2.html)

I can make a case that steriods won the 2003 AL Pennant for the Yankees. Everybody remembers Pedrogate and Aaron Boone but neither happens if Jason Giambi doesn't hit 2 homers of of Pedro earlier.

IMO, the Bug Guy was far more attractive.

Is anybody even mentioning that? I remember 2005, when a BP dork
announced that a "player from an AL playoff team" had tested positive.
Some fans reacted with glee at the possibility that it was a White Sox
player, which would "taint" their 2005 title. I remember this very attitude
on nyyfans.com. So what's the score now with Giambi?

Giambi probably should have kept his mouth shut. I hope they are successful in voiding his contract
