Toilet paper night on May 24th; get a dollar off the ticket price when you bring a roll of TP. It's a cute dig on Sheryl Crow, but you know what's going to happen, right?
right?

Hopefully they're smarter than that and are going to collect them and donate them to a homeless shelter or something similar.
They couldn't POSSIBLY allow people to keep the toilet paper during the game, could they? I mean, NOBODY is that stupid, ...right???

Awful Night, July 14, 2003
Attempting to produce the worst atmosphere ever at a baseball game, the Altoona Curve had music by William Shatner and Milli Vanilli, a gate giveaway of a 12-inch square of bubble wrap, pregame autograph sessions with non-celebrities, batting averages listed as "failed averages" (a .300 hitter had a .700 average) and a special presentation to the 1962 Mets -- baseball's worst team ever

myself personally, i like nobody night. I espically liked the idea of how fans could watch some of the game by standing on ladders that were set up on the outside of the walls.

Remember when the Schaumburg Flyers were going to have the first two innings of a game against the Kansas City T-Bones played on an Xbox?

IIRC, the idea was kiboshed.

Rule #1 of Promotions!!! NEVER BRING SOMETHING THE FANS CAN THROW!!!
Disco Demolition Night was a disaster because the fans got to keep the extra records they brought. They probably made great frisbees.

I remember many a "Seat Cushion Night" going astray. Do they still have those?

These promotions are like the Dan Akroyd SNL skit of a new line of toys. One was "Broken Glass Shards in a Bag". How about a 'hot charcoal briquet in a can' give away.

Have you ever been to Charlotte? I lived there for 3+ years, and while most of the time, folks there are level headed. But there are occasions...

Good thing that Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS wasn't "Jagged Shard of Glass" night!

Yes, they're going to TP Brian Anderson during the 7th-inning stretch. It was Ozzie's idea. :redneck

If it was something along the lines of you getting only 1/2 a churro, then yes, bad idea.
