Gavin Floyd is back for Charlotte.

Thome is in the lineup, 0-1, walk.

Toby Hall is 2-2. Wouldn't be surprised if he's activated for the series at Wrigley.

Egbert is the most underrated prospect in the system, IMO.

So how does the current Charlotte lineup compare with the current Sox getaway lineup?

Hall now 3-3 with a walk.

Let's call him up, and put him in the lineup Friday against Lilly.

The Knights are pouring it on late. 15-1 in the 9th.

Egbert 6 IP, 5 R, 7 H, 1 BB, 6 K, E, WP.
Malone on in relief.

DRod 6 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 2 BB, 4 K.
Torres with 5 Ks in 2 scoreless IP.
Cunningham homered.
Mercedes, Schnurstein & Orlando
had 2 hits each.
Orlando drove in the wining run.

The I's lost 3-2.
Rasner 6 IP, 3 R, 3 H, 2 BB, 6 K.
Texeira 2 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 4 K.

Holy crap, did Hall have a game or what?

It'll be nice to get some hitting out of our backup catcher.

They misspelled "usage", but it still hilarious.

Toby Hall is 2-2. Wouldn't be surprised if he's activated for the series at Wrigley.

It would be nice to not have to watch AJ flail away at Hill or Lilly.

Any reports on his throwing or how he is feeling afterwards? I assume because he is playing something it must be ok so far? It's clear the guy can hit though.

From today's Soxune (http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/cs-070515soxbits,1,7148335.story?coll=cs-whitesox-headlines):
Guillen said the reports on catcher Toby Hall weren't good during his first two games for Triple-A Charlotte, although Hall had three hits and three RBIs in his first three at-bats Tuesday night at Columbus. Guillen said the Sox staff is monitoring the progress of Hall, who is recovering from a torn right labrum.
