Joe Torre raced back home last night to spend the day with his ailing brother Frank, who is fighting for his life after a kidney transplant.
The Yankees manager planned to fly with the team from Seattle to Chicago, then continue home overnight to spend today with his brother at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia.
