Does anyone have a scouting report on him? What position does he play? What is his ceiling? Thanks in advance!

Carter's a 1B/DH who moved from 3B. He's a big strong guy. I saw him in spring two years ago. Looks like a MLB player bodywise and has a solid swing. He's not particularly fast (but he's not Konerko either) and he has a long way to go defensively. He was the dominate player of our 2005 instructional league, then was great in 2006 spring training, faltered for the first month in Kanny so he was sent back to extended spring, then played at Great Falls where he was one of the top hitters in the league. Baseball America lists him as our 11th best prospect, but if he continues hitting like this (which is comparable to what he did at GF) in a full-season league, he'll for sure be a top 5 prospect.
