Soon, the Knights will take an 8-day road trip to 2 Ohio cities.

Columbus is about a 6-hour drive from the Cell. The Clippers (http://www.clippersbaseball.com/) play in an older stadium right off the Interstate. A new, downtown ballpark is in the works.

Toledo is only a 4-hour drive from the Cell. The Mudhens (http://www.mudhens.com/) play in a beautiful downtown ballpark that is near a handful of solid restaurants / bars.

Here are the specifics:

Gotta love the IL with 11 teams and a truly unbalanced schedule. Everyday somebody is off.

If you decide to attend one of these games with children, beware of Brian Anderson. We have received the following terror alert from a credible source:
When not batting or playing the field, Brian Anderson roams the park stealing ice cream from little kids.

I'll be heading down to Indy the 1st week of June when the Knights are going to be in town.

I'll be sure to buy Brian a Snowcone before the game :redneck

The Columbus series starts tomorrow.

This thread (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=87666) indicates that Thome might be rehabbing with the Knights during at least some of these games.

Rumor confirmed: Thome is in the lineup today, batting 3rd for the Knights.

Also, Gavin Floyd is back in action. I should get to see him pitch on Sunday.

I live in Columbus and went to the Knights/Clippers last night. Thome went 0-4 with a walk, but didn't seem to be hurting at all. When he wasn't batting he was in the bullpen taking cuts or signing autographs.
Hall looked good at the plate, had 3 hits and 3 RBI.
