I don't hate Wrigley just because I'm a White Sox fan. I like to go there once every few years. I would hate it if my team played there 81 times a year, but its ok every once in a while. It just seems silly to hate wrigley simply b/c you're a sox fan IMO.

The park I liked the best besides the Cell was Turner Field I went down there when the Sox played them in 2002 they had a nice place to eat in the ballpark and I liked the Museum, The only thing I liked about the Great American Ballpark was all of the Sox fans in the park and All over town.

That might cover it. I toured the Astrodome. I've been to some minor league parks. I've played in a few minor league parks. A lot of major league parks I've been to no longer exist. A couple I've been to shouldn't exist.
New Comiskey/The Cell is my favorite. Anaheim would come in second. Miller Park is overrated. The BOB (it's a better name for a park Chase) is a better place to watch a game.
I don't hate Wrigley because I'm a Sox fan. I hate it because of the way it smells.

Favorites (Non-Sox related): PNC (love the Pirates, the stadium, the view); Camden Yards and Kaufman (great venues for baseball); liked County and Tiger for being old ballparks that smelled like stale beer. As for the minors, AutoZone in Memphis is incredible.
Least Favorite: Greer Stadium in Nashville is quite simply a dump. No atmosphere, crappy concessions, just flat sucks.

Ones that I really want to see: PNC Park (I've heard it's awesome), AT&T Park, new Busch Stadium, and Yankee Stadium (just so I can say I've been there).
I've also been to dozens of minor league ones. For these, the dumpier they are, the more I like it. My favorite minor league game I've ever been to was the (now extinct) Kenosha Mammoths, in which there were so few fans that when they did the "Guess the Attendance" Contest you could basically count them.

omg i am sorry u had to witness a game in rfk:tongue:
anyways i noticed people are posting desired stadiums, well here are mine
at&t park (giants...i think the sox may be playing there next year in interleague. member in 2003, the sox played san fran at home, when bonds hit a homer in every game of the series)
jacobs field (if i go there, i will then have visited every stadium in the al central)
coors (too bad the sox played the rockies there in 05. now its their turn to come to chicago, so it could be till 2009 or 2010 until the sox go back to colorado)
camden yards (too bad its about a 12 hour drive from where i live to see the sox play there. me and my dad drive when we go see the sox places)
yankee stadium (i may be going to new york just for a normal vacation next summer, so even if their not playin the sox, i would love to see 1 game there, whether it was the red sox or the royals, i dont care)

Wrigley
Comiskey
Cell
Old Busch
Milwaukee County Stadium (old Brewers park)
As for minor league stadiums:
Tucson Electric Park
Joe Davis Stadium (Huntsville Stars - back when it was AA for Oakland A's)
Hoover Metropolitan Stadium (Birmingham Barons AA - now Regions Park)
Pete Vonachen Stadium (old Peoria Chiefs A stadium)
Phoenix Municipal Stadium
don't know if this counts - ballpark at Scottsdale Community College - can't remember, but either used for Oakland's fall ball in '91 or extended spring training in '92 or both??
I forgot I've been to Ho Ho Kam Park too. I was at Mile High Stadium too, but that was to watch the DCI (Drum Corps International) finals a few years ago.

Nah,,it's more fun this way! Besides, I have not seen GAMES yet at Petco or Citizens Bank --just seen them on the outside.

Petco is a great park. One of my favorites.
I decided yesterday to go and visit a friend in DC the weekend the Sox are in Baltimore. So I will be adding Camden to my list also.
I've heard Petco is a great park. So far though Safeco is my favorite of the parks I've visited. I could be a little biased, but I love watching the game from the Centerfield landing and getting to watch the antics of the bullpen at the same time.

POMPANO STADIUM, Pompano Beach,Fla(Rangers)
Les just identified a team that played at one of the non-MLB stadia I've been to. The Rangers used to train in Pompano Beach at what is called Municipal Stadium. The Cubs' Florida State League A team also used to play there. Evidently, the stadium is still standing but is so dilapidated that it's the baseball equivalent of Dixie Square Mall today.

I've only been to 4 ballparks, but I'd like to go to more. For the person who mentioned that they'd like to go to Yankee Stadium, get there while you can. It would be nice to say you've watched a ball game there. I'll never get to say that. But anyway, the 4 parks I've been to are: Old Comiskey, Milwaukee County Stadium, the Cell, and the Urinal. I haven't been to a game anywhere besides the Cell since 1998, when I went to a game at Wrigley. I really don't remember going to MCS and Old Comiskey because I was so young when I went to games there. I only know that I've been to those ballparks because my parents told me I did, so I don't know if that really counts.
