I could have sworn I posted a thread exactly like this yesterday. It's suppose to rain all day in Chicago. Awesome! I wonder if we get this game in and if we don't do we make a double header tomorrow or hold it off for later.

I still think a rain out wouldn't be bad but after Javy's performance last night the bullpen could definitely use a rest. So maybe some rain would be good.

That is all.

Well this rain is ruining my day off of school. Me and my buddies were going to go to the game tonight and them being cub fans are going to the cub game in the afternoon. So I'm caught in between of what to do.

You could always see one of the terrible movies that are at movie theaters, go to an indoor go kart place, play video games, go to school?

I looked at the hour by hour forecast and it shows rain every hour. It does not look good for the game tonight.

They may have to try their damndest to play these games. When Detroit comes back in July it's for the 12-15th games of an 18 game stretch without a day off. Then they don't come back till the final weekend. We play IN Detroit on 9-4 with Monday the 3rd an off day. That would put us at 16 days in a row with games however. It's gonna be tough making these up.

I'm torn. I have tickets and want to go, but I also have a ton of work to do. So if they get rained out, it won;t be the worst thing in the world, as long as I don't drag myself down there first.

See you in the outfield! I'm overdue for a game as well. Last one I was to go to was called due to cold (and I was upset). I guess I won't be upset tonight if it gets called so long as it's before I get down there. KF

Nope, not at all and I have great UD seats - just under the roof.

NOAA.gov has a forecast of 100% chance of rain & thunder until 7, then 80% percent chance of rain until 11pm.

If the Sox call this one, I hope it's before I leave work and go down to the Cell.

Looking at the doppler radar and seeing how the storm is rotating, we're in an area right now where we may not get much rain at all today. The clouds are now rotating from southeast to northwest and we're in that area where it is calm.

I say the game will go on tonight no problem.

Last night wasn't *that* bad...but it might have helped if I had extra napkins to wipe down my wet seat before I sat in it. Dress for a late November Bears game and you'll be fine.

My wife packed a small towel and some ponchos for me and the kids. We never did need the ponchos, but that wind was painful at times. Hopefully, tomorrow's game will be a little warmer, dryer, and less windy

Looks like we just got some spotty thunderstorms blowing up just south of us. Should be rolling through in the next 90 minutes or so if they don't die out into just rain showers.

Either way, looks like some rain tonight.

As long as it's just spotty rain tonight we'll be OK. My tix are under the roof in the UD anyway

I just hope that that big blob of continuous rain in Iowa doesn't start rolling this way...

There's a nice little squall line that blew up between LaSalle and Kankakee. Should move through and weaken soon, as this is the warmest part of the day and will be the most active.

By around 5pm the worst of it should be through us. Look at where I-80 and I-55 meet on the radar. West of that, it's all clear with some weaker stuff to the extreme southwest.

Check the radar, the stuff to the south is already weakening. It keeps moving north and hitting the cooler air and with no more daytime heating, it's all dying off.

They'll probably squeeze it in, albiet with delays.
