The Knights are tied at 2 in extra innings.

Some crappy fundamental baseball in this game. Examples:
- Failed to score a runner on 3B with 1 out in the 1st inning
- Kenny Perez walks and then gets picked off 1B in the 7th
- Wiki ties the game with a no-out RBI single in the 8th; Owens bunts into a fielder's choice
- Knights' hitter leading off the bottom of the 9th walks; Sweeney pops up a bunt
- Knights' hitter leading off the bottom of the 10th singles; Wiki GIDP

Maurice, any thoughts on Aaron Cunningham? Defensive skills? Speed?

I really like this kid - 838 OPS as a 19 year old at Bristol - to 882 last year with 19 swipes, increasing his HR total from 5 to 11 -

Now - a 1.001 OPS with 7 SB and 2 HR - with a .375 average -

I think he is my favorite prospect

I only saw Aaron Cunningham once. He obviously knows how to hit, but my concern is that he's not a very big guy and probably won't hit a ton of HR or steal a ton of bases in MLB. That's a pretty serious limitation for a corner OF. Maybe he'll pull a Rowand / Reed and try to improve his D enough for a move to CF.

BTW, with 3 hits today, Cunningham currently is batting .400.

The Barons now trail 3-1 after 6 innings of play.
Whisler 5 IP, 2 R, 1 ER, 6 H, 0 BB, 1 K.
Valido 2-3, 2B, SB, R.

The 'Hogs trail 10-6 in the 8th.
Richard 5 IP, 3 R, 2 ER, 4 H, 1 BB, 3 K.
The bullpen is getting rocked.

The I's lost 9-0 and gave up 6 SB.
Texeira and Rote were awful in relief.
Rote had 3 WP in only 1 IP.
Cruz is the only player who reached
base more than once, going 2-4, E.

Shouldnt he be able to handle it - I am assuming he has some decent speed - Although he does bear a strong resemblance to Reed - As his scouting reports keep mentioning how he can "Hit well with a wood bat" - and is definitely putting up the minor league numbers like reed (so far)...

Reed - http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/R/jeremy-reed.shtml

More power potential than Reed. Not going to ever hit 40 HR's, but he makes solid contact and can drive the ball. Reed always gave the impression that he slapped the ball (although Sweeney sometimes gives the same impression)...
