Okay. I know we talked about already on the 4/24 game vs. KC, but I am just sooo confused. I know there is CSN and CSN+. CSN+ for me is CLTV (Channel 10). So, what is CSN+ 2? Thanks for anyone you can help me understand this.

I owe an apology to my local cable company for my comments on another thread about not getting tonight's game. They decided to carry the Sox game tonight on another channel in the Sterling/Rock Falls area. Too bad the game is on a rain delay.

Rain delay, but it will be on 669. The game should start around 8:30.

I was confused too. It didn't say on guide menu that the game will be playing on TLN.

RCN says it's on channel 97 but I'm just getting dead air. Anyone else having this problem?

I wish my building had another TV option .

I dunno if it's on 97 like it's supposed to be, but it's on regular CSN now, and CSN HD.

Is it just my cable line, or does that station just plain blow?! The ENTIRE picture is completely fuzzy!

Glad to see they shifted it back to CSN (37) after the Bulls' postgame show finished. Even more glad to see the Sox come back in this one and take the lead.

My channel 97 never came in either... I just gave up. RCN is crummy, but their cable internet price is tough to beat (I'm only paying $20). My picture quality in general is poor as well, but I assumed it was because I am splitting our line a bunch of times (I have analog still)

I actually found the game on 3 different channels last night. CSN, CSN+ and some oddball channel that I've never stopped on before that was all fuzzy.

I agree while watching the game last night, even on CSN high def channel the picture was horrible. I switched to the non high def channel and it was almost un watchable. I think CSN broadcast picture has to be the worst of any sports network. Hopefully if Ameritech get House bill 1500 passed the picture will be better!

Took me a half hour and 2 phone calls to track down the game. I was in the local pub so wasnt easy but it is channel 67 out in the Joliet area. So now I know in future cases:smile:

is CSN+ a channel you have to pay extra for? I could not find the game at all except on a high number channel that just said MLB and told me I needed a subscription.

I have RCN in the city, and CSN+2 was simply not on any channel last night in my area. The channel where it was supposed to be was just black with a little white interference.

I have an old disconnected Comcast cable hookup (long story that's not interesting), and temporarily hooked it up and found CSN+2 there.

After the Bulls and Cubs games ended, and they showed the Sox on CSN and CSN+, I was fine going back to my RCN cable.

On a related but different topic, it does seem like if CSN has a conflict with the Cubs and Sox, the Cubs always end up on CSN and Sox always end up on CSN+. But weren't the Sox TV ratings last year higher than Cubs?

RCN DOES SUCK!!! They actually force people into getting their "Wonderful" cable services.

Anybody know why the Sox got the CSN2 treatment and not the Cubs? I rarely if ever have seen the Cubs on CSNplus (mind you I haven't looked for them either). The Sox have another 5 or 6 games on plus, is it equal? Anyways last night's RCN/CSN2 debacle was a joke.

2007: Sox 9, Cubs 8.

RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!

Plus I think the Sox were already on Plus, and they just moved the games down one. And you can't really play the "this one is more important" when they're both playing division rivals in April.

Didn't the teams switch a game last year, with the Sox and a game of importance going on CSN, and the Cubs moving down to Plus?

If you have basic cable (including CSN), you get CSN+ for 'free'

I have RCN in the city, and CSN+2 was simply not on any channel last night in my area. The channel where it was supposed to be was just black with a little white interference.

For the first 4 innings or so this was the case, it did however appear on Channel 97 later in the game

I actually found the game on 3 different channels last night. CSN, CSN+ and some oddball channel that I've never stopped on before that was all fuzzy.

That oddball channel was CSN+2, I think its the TV Guide Channel normally...After the Bulls and Cubs games ended, the Sox game was definetly on all 3...it was interesting to flip between the 3 and see the drastic picture quality difference.
