Or are you getting irritated about some of the guys on the Sox slamming their bats and helmets after a strike out or fly ball, ie AJ and Uribe? Im sitting here watching the game with my two nephews, ages 4 and 7. The 7 year old is gonna start Little League next year and I swear if I ever catch him throwing his bat or helmet im gonna yell at him. Your thoughts?

Depends on the situation. They're human, but yeah, it's not a good thing to do every at bat.

I get more disapointed at Konerko's shoulder drop.

It's just you. Charles Barkley put is SO well, when he said, "I am not a role model...."

That's your job, no one said it would be easy.

Sorry.But it'll mean more later.

It bothers me more when a player kind of acts like, "Oh, well." It's a competition; they should be competitive.

It's not just you. I'm fed up with it as well. Something in me wants to say "it's not the bat's fault you struck out."

I hate when a player swings and strikes out, and then turns around and looks like he's yelling at the Ump. If he is, or not, I don't know, but it looks like he is, and I always say, you swung at it idiot, it's not the umps fault.

A lot of times they are just getting clarification as to where the pitch was and if what they swung at was a ball or a strike. Typically it looks bad because they are pissed about the strikeout.

They have every right to be mad. Konerko went 0-5 today, are you suggesting that he shouldn't care? I'd be doing the same thing. It's frustrating when they can't get it done.

They should NEVER be satisfied with faliure. But, they also need to act like they've been there before and be more sportsmanlike.

AJ is the worst at it, it makes you look like a baby. Imagine if a pitcher would do something similar after every home run given up

They let 7-year olds play Little League now?

I started playing Little League at Midway Baseball when I was six. Most of my idiot friends did the same thing.

I love AJ but thats whats getting me a little irked with him. Yeah I like emotion from guys but every at bat he's either slammin his bat into the ground in disgust or else he's whipping his helmet towards the dugout...Show some professionalism like Jim Thome.

It does get old after awhile. Even the best hitters fail two out of three times.

I also imagine showing excessive emotion too much doesn't get you on the right side of some umpires unless you've earned that right, which I do not believe AJ or Uribe have yet reached.

I'll never question Thome's or Konerko's hearts because they don't (usually) get riled up after a bad at-bat.
